Spitting Pig East Anglia have been working extremely hard over the last few months as we hit our peak season, and it doesn’t stop there. On the 9th of October we had a lovely day doing a hog roast in Coton for the Cambridge Lawn Tennis Club. They had originally booked for a menu 1 but shortly after they upgraded to our popular menu 3. To accompany their hog roast Coton, they chose 3 fresh home made salads, a potato option and a home made Spanish Quiche for the none meat eaters. We had a serve time of 1pm, which suited us perfectly. We arrived in plenty of time and got set up, making our salads and prepping the food. The weather stayed fine for most of day, so a lot of people chose to eat outdoors, making the most of the nice weather whilst it lasts! We served around 100 people in a reasonable time, with a lot of people coming back up for seconds. We discretely cleared everything up and packed our equipment away, and set off on our way with another busy week to look forward to!
