In addition to providing all kinds of meat dishes, we also have various options for vegans and vegetarians, and if you need any other special diet catering, our chefs can whip up something suitable and tasty, as long as we have advance notice.

For a 30th birthday party that Hog Roast Kessingland catered recently, we were asked by Tim to make our sumptuous pigs in buns for most of the 25 guests but he also needed a vegetarian main course too. While we can make all kinds, like veggie burgers, quiche or stuffed vegetables, our veggie skewers are undoubtedly our most popular option for vegetarians. With chunks of fresh halloumi, mushrooms, tomatoes, mixed peppers, red onion and courgette, which we grill to perfection and then serve in pitta bread with a Tzatziki dip, they are devoured with relish each and every time we serve them and Tim decided they would be a great addition to his birthday menu.

On the day of the party, our Hog Roast Kessingland chef and catering assistant arrived at Tim’s home early in the afternoon, as this was the venue. We set up our equipment outside in the garden and prepared the meat before setting it cooking for several hours. By 6pm, it was moist and tender on the inside, crispy on the outside and resting for a short while we got the rest of the food ready. Then by the time all the guests had arrived to celebrate Tim’s special day, our team was ready to serve.
