Some weddings feel formal from the moment guests arrive, while others instantly make you feel at home. Hannah’s wedding at Molecey Estates’ Granary venue was definitely one to remember. As guests began arriving the drinks were already flowing and there was a mixture of excitement and pride filling the air before the food service began. It was the kind of wedding where everyone could properly relax, catch up with each other and enjoy the day at their own pace, which is exactly the type of event Hog Roast Market Deeping loves being part of.
Set on Stamford Road in the heart of Market Deeping, The Granary provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxed and welcoming wedding celebration. As 90 of the couple’s favourite people arrived, the food started being served from 3:30pm and as the afternoon slipped away the evening was full of celebration. The conversations began flowing between friends and family, as well as plenty of trips back to the serving table and people even started getting on the dancefloor.
For this wedding, the couple chose a relaxed BBQ menu that suited the venue and atmosphere perfectly. Guests could tuck into grilled favourites, such as burgers, sausages, chicken kebabs and ribs. People began piling their plates high with pasta salad, greek salad, and crispy fries. Vegetarian and vegan guests were also more than considered, with halloumi skewers and jackfruit options available throughout the day, making sure everyone could enjoy the feast together.
One of the things our team love most about wedding catering is how food can seamlessly become part of the celebration itself. While some guests caught up with family members they hadn’t seen in years, others gathered around tables sharing stories and comparing what they’d piled onto their plates. As the evening went on, guests still wandered back for another handful of fries or one last rib before the evening celebrations properly kicked off. The relaxed style of the catering worked perfectly for the setting at Molecey Estates. At Hog Roast Marketing Deeping, we believe that weddings don’t always need formal sit down meals to feel special. Sometimes a BBQ shared outdoors with friends and family is just the vision couples are hoping for and we strive to work with all our hosts to bring that to life. We helped to achieve a celebration where guests could relax, eat well and simply enjoy being together, which is exactly what the couple wanted for their special day.
By the end of the evening, the garden was full of happy and well fed guests, discussing the favourite part of their meal, long after they’d finished eating, which is always a sign of a successful event. Hog Roast catering can do so much more than feed people, it creates an experience. Which is why so many couples choose our team for weddings and celebrations across the area. So, whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a large party, having a catering team you can rely on can make all the difference to your special day.
