l jobs are concerned. And as we all know, hard work is hungry work, which is why Hog Roast Peterborough are here to ensure that all the work doesn’t go by unrewarded.
You need only ask the fine folks at the Westland Horticulture Society, who last week began the hard work of a warehouse relocation. With a tonne of stock to move from one spot to the other, the team of 80 were of course going to need something substantial to pick them up again after a lunch break. Enter Hog Roast Peterborough!
While the Westland Horticulture team shipped back and forth all morning, head chef Andrew and the Hog Roast Peterborough sweated away with our own work, preparing a glorious hog roast dining menu. All morning long we had our signature pork roast out on the spit, turning away and cooking to a brilliant golden crisp colour and texture. Whilst that cooked away, there were no idle hands in the Hog Roast Peterborough kitchen still. Further work was put in to prepare a delicious veggie alternative of grilled veg and halloumi skewers, to be served with fresh tzatziki dip and punchy sweet chilli sauce. Knowing just how hungry our guests were going to be – having seen all that they put in through the morning – Andrew also prepared our gourmet sausages to be freshly grilled come lunchtime. A side of fresh fries and plenty of gluten-free rolls and wraps rounded out this delicious lunch menu – a worthy one, too, after a long morning of hard work in the Westland Horticulture warehouses.
Come 1pm, it was evident just how welcomed our dining was. The Westland team came in delighted to see all of our fresh foods hot and ready to go. Plates piled high to help restore energy levels, and also just to toast to a morning very well spent for the whole team.
