Another weekend, another excellent wedding service well catered by the Hog Roast Cambridgeshire team. Throughout autumn we have been overjoyed to see the wedding season didn’t solely begin and end with the summer; our wedding services have carried on at a nice rate through September and now into October. Even as temperatures fall, there is still plenty of bright and warm wedding joy to be found at Hog Roast Cambridgeshire!
This week’s service was for the lovely Anastasiia and Alexander. An exceptional wedding celebration that was put together in part by Alexander’s mum Elena, who was the first to contact the Hog Roast Cambridgeshire team to explore our dining options for her son’s special day. We are so glad she did so because this was truly a wonderful event to be a part of. A wedding party on the smaller end with only about 30 guests to cook and serve for, but that only helped the celebrations to feel all the more special. It meant a more personal feeling service with each guest, as many came to tell us just how much they were loving the colourful arrangement of our antipasti grazing table – our starter to the day served at 5pm. The team did an excellent job making the platters really pop from the table, utilising the mix of colours in our fine Italian meats and cheeses with our salad leaves, dipping oils, and artisanal breads to make a spread that looked just as good as it tasted.
Our antipasti boards were just to get our guests into the swing of things. It helped to warm up the party some and spark plenty conversation while the bride and groom could do the rounds and get their photos sorted. In that time the Hog Roast Cambridgeshire also had our hog roast cooking away in the background, which again many guests came to chat to us about. It’s always a sight to see our authentic whole hog roast; it’s even more so to then dine with, as our chefs prepared a great selection of sides and accompaniments to round out this spectacular dining experience for Alexander, Anastasiia, mum Elena, and all of their 30 guests!
