80 is a remarkable age. As a catering business Hog Roast Tinwell has only been around for about 30, and we feel like that is a remarkable age to make already for our business. To have lived a life to 80 is incredible, and therefore certainly well worth big celebrations on your milestone birthday.
Which of course is exactly what we did with one of our customers in Tinwell this week, who had about 70 of their closest friends and family join together in celebration of such a life to a remarkable 80 years old. But it wasn’t solely the 70 loved ones in attendance making this a night to never forget amongst the many memories of 80 years; Hog Roast Tinwell’s stylish catering was on hand once more to prove that new memories are still there to be made and cherished even at 80!
When putting together our menu, Hog Roast Tinwell’s head chef Andrew figured that an 80th would appreciate a more traditional style of dining. Our recommendation, then, to our customer was to enjoy our signature hog roast. We make it in the traditional spit style in a process that has survived centuries. It is near as remarkable as an 80th, so it seemed to us to be the very best option for this event. Our 80th birthday host agreed.
So fast forward to the night and Andrew is cooking up our authentic hog roast in view of nearly 70 guests in a spectacle that could only be described as exceptional. It’s something that all events tend to enjoy as our roast cooks in fiery style with the smoky aromas of the pork wafting through the party and getting each and every guest in heavy anticipation of the brilliant servings to come. They wouldn’t have to wait long fortunately, as the bulk of the work was done earlier in the day – this was just the final flourish for party purposes! Before too long, guests were queued in their droves to get our hog roast along with sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, seasonal leafy greens, creamy slaw, and plenty of bread rolls and wraps to pile it all high in!
