Hog Roast Huntingdon are experts in creating a memorable catering experience for unique events and last week, we had the pleasure of celebrating a love story that has already stood the test of time as our happy couple celebrated their vow renewals at Ramsey Heights on the 23rd of May. Of course, our delicious food was at the heart of the day, bringing everyone together to mark the occasion!
Hosted at a stunning private venue, the event welcomed 230 guests who gathered to celebrate years of marriage, memories and commitment. The atmosphere throughout the day was a beautiful mix of emotion, nostalgia and joy, with family and friends coming together to honour the happy couple in style. For such a meaningful occasion, the hosts wanted a menu that reflected their long marriage so far, relaxed but fun and our bespoke menus provided by our Hog Roast Huntingdon team, delivered exactly that. With two serving stations set up across the venue, guests could enjoy quick and easy access to freshly prepared food while continuing to mingle and celebrate.
The crowd pleasers of the menu were our mouthwatering whole roasted pig and tender lamb joints, served with a 50/50 split to give guests plenty of choice. The meat was slowly cooked until it fell apart and the crackling was crisp. Alongside the main meats, guests enjoyed fresh seasonal green leaf salad, creamy coleslaw, and vibrant tomato and mozzarella salad for a refreshing balance. To complete the feast, we served crispy fries and buttery new potatoes, again with a 50/50 split so guests could pick their favourites. A selection of bread rolls and wraps allowed everyone to build the perfect plate, while our eco-friendly bamboo crockery, meaning guests could build their perfect plate and enjoy this whilst catching up with a family member they haven’t seen in years or discuss their favourite menu item with someone they’ve only just met for the first time!

From setup to service, our professional catering manager Andrew and the team ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing the happy couple to focus on making memories with their loved ones and creating a day that everyone involved would be reminiscing on, long after the final plate is cleared.
