Hog Roast Beccles has catered Afternoon Teas for quite a few customers over the years, specifically for wedding breakfasts, wedding anniversaries or garden tea parties celebrating birthdays. It is a lovely idea where all the food is served on tiered cake stands, either served to tables or placed as a buffet. It specifically goes well with shabby chic and rustic theme events.
What is included in Hog Roast Beccles’s afternoon teas? All afternoon tea menus are served with tea and coffee, this is either as a buffet station where guests can help themselves to tea or coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits or served to table. Whilst it is served to table, milk jugs, sugar and chocolate mints are popped on the table but the tea and coffee is served by waitresses or waiters.
Hog Roast Beccles’s afternoon tea food consists of sandwiches, nibbles and sweet treats. It includes a selection of sandwiches whether that’s a traditional afternoon tea cucumber sandwich or ham salad sandwich. Whatever takes your fancy, we will provide. In the past we have done beef sandwiches, tuna sandwiches, cheese sandwiches, smoked salmon sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches and even egg and cress sandwiches. Just let us know which ones you desire.
All kinds of nibbles are included such as sausage rolls, scotch eggs, mini rolls, pork pies, crisps, cheese sticks and cheese and pineapple sticks. Any requests we will happily oblige too.
We can’t forget the sweet treats! Hog Roast Beccles does a medley of mini pastries and cakes such as chocolate eclairs and Victoria sponges. Of course, an afternoon tea is not complete without scones! Fruit or plain scones served with raspberry or strawberry jams and traditional clotted cream or light, fluffy whipped cream.
A Hog Roast Beccles afternoon tea is completely indulgent, it gives everyone happy, full tummies, washed down with tea or coffee.
