When planning a special occasion for loved ones it is of course imperative that you can find suppliers who are willing to work with you every step of the way. We were heading out this weekend to cater for the Pearl wedding anniversary of Rosie and Dean who had now been married a grand total of thirty years. Having met whilst they were both studying on the same course at university, we were told it had pretty much been love at first sight and neither Dean nor Rosie had looked back since- how romantic! The party was being organised by the couple’s two children, Alex and Heather, who wanted to show their parents how much they were loved and appreciate on their wedding anniversary.
Our Hog Roast Holme Next the Sea team arrived at the family home mid-morning to begin our set up for the day. Heather was on hand to greet us and showed us to the gazebo they had hired for the party in the garden. At this time of year, it really is starting to get chilly so in addition to our Hog Roast Holme Next the Sea providing lots of delicious food we were told jokingly that we were also hired to provide some heat for the event and keep everyone warm with our food slowly roasting away!
For this special occasion, we had planned a bespoke winter warmer menu consisting of all our clients Hog Roast Holme Next the Sea favourites. This meant we would be roasting a small pig to be served alongside applesauce, crackling and sage and onion stuffing as well as some Cajun-spiced chickens, hotdogs and burgers for the younger guests to enjoy.
