Hog Roast Lingwood recently provided catering for a 40th birthday party happening locally, which included an 80s theme. Our catering managers Andrew and James were contacted by Liling to choose the ideal menu for the occasion, from the range of buffets that we have on offer. The menu needed to be ideal for 30 guests and include something for everyone to enjoy, including several vegetarians. After looking through our menus, it was decided that our Classic Hog Roast menu was the best choice for the occasion.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Lingwood team arrived early to prepare the catering for the 18:30 mealtime. We began by roasting the hog slowly and carefully, ensuring that it was cooked to perfection before it was expertly carved. Once ready, it was served with fresh bread rolls, sage and onion stuffing, and crispy crackling. For meat-free guests, we provided grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, which are a delicious dish! The main dishes were served with a selection of sides and salad options, including crunchy coleslaw and homemade chips.
Our catering went down a treat and was a great accompaniment to the 80s theme. The guests had a great night in their fancy dress and celebrated the birthday with throw-back music and party games!
