We have been all over the UK just lately and last weekend was no exception. Travelling south for a birthday on Sunday and enjoying the lovely sun shine what a treat! Hog roast Litcham were catering for a 30th birthday and the lady in question was dreading turning 30 she had such a stigma about being 30 and all her family and friends were ribbing her about this! We decided to cheer her up and what better way than with our wonderful food! We made turkey curry which is simple and quick to make and proving to be one of our most popular new dishes just a case of cooking and shredding the turkey and then adding it to our delicious curry sauce we also added red and green peppers and onions with this we made a savoury rice and served in bowls yes we are creative and always thinking of ways to spice up our menus and what better way than curry!
Hog roast hire Litcham also made some chicken and placed the warm meat in buns and dipped them in gravy another nice dish. Mexican, Chinese and Indian potato dice were also on the menu another of our culinary creations they are again simple to make we chop potatoes into small cubes and we don’t bother to peel we leave the skin for extra taste, we then use the eastern spices to season each batch of potatoes then we bake them in our machine and it only takes about ten minutes and we serve them with chilli dip and cool lime dip. We always go that extra mile to make our out standing dishes and love to be creative and a lot of our recipes come from customers we are always keen to pinch a new idea! The lady soon forgot about being thirty as she tucked into the food and she loved everything especially the Mexican dice potatoes and our turkey curry. Hog roasting bringing people together and helping our customers realise age is just a number; it’s how you feel inside having said that I would love to be 30 again!
