As a wedding caterer your best advertiser is always your food itself. The nice thing about events is you are getting a tonne of guests coming in to try your food and services, any one of which potentially a new customer should they enjoy the food. And at Hog Roast King’s Lynn, they always enjoy the food!
It’s not uncommon for guests to enquire about our services while we are already cooking for them at an event. As we said, our food is our best advertiser, and even just the sight of our signature hog roast will give guests cause to come and see about grabbing our dining for their own event.
This happened not all too long at an event which then came full circle just this past week, as the Hog Roast King’s Lynn team catered for the wonderful wedding celebrations of Steve and Laura. Like Hog Roast King’s Lynn, Steve also works in the wedding industry, providing photography services. He was at a wedding that we catered for, photographing guests, the bride, groom, and funnily enough some of our food, too – because it looks so incredible once it is all laid out on our serving table. Steve enjoyed our food so much at that wedding that he then enquired about having us cater for his own. Of course we accepted.
So all things came full circle finally this past weekend when we came out to the historic King’s Lynn Town Hall, where 90 guests gathered to celebrate the loving matrimony of Steve and Laura. Not having to pull photo duties this time, Steve just got to bask in the moment and really enjoy our foods without being on the clock. Knowing what he enjoyed last time out when we first met him, we of course had our signature hog roast prepared along with crispy crackling, sage and onion stuffing, fresh apple sauce, mixed leaves, creamy coleslaw, tomato and mozzarella salad, traditional fries, grilled veg and halloumi skewers, and plenty of sauces with bread rolls and wraps.
Perhaps there will have been a guest there that similarly enjoyed our foods and will reach out soon enough to kick off the whole Hog Roast King’s Lynn wedding catering cycle again!
