Hog Roast Wells-next-the-Sea gave them pumpkin to talk about!

Halloween is upon us and the world looks towards spookiness and spiritualism to lift the spirits as darkness cuts short daylight hours. Hog Roast Wells-next-the-Sea’s latest event was a family Halloween party, the clients Manua and Lee wanted the team to supply a delicious buffet for their big family party.

Manua and Lee worked with the Hog Roast Wells-next-the-Sea team to put together a bespoke catering package that fell within their budget for the party and met their needs. The menu for the party was simple, but had enough variety within the dishes that the 13 guests with ages ranging from 9 to 50 would be pleased with what foods were on offer.

The catering package that the clients selected was a Gourmet Delivery service, this meant that the food was prepared at the Wells-next-the-Sea kitchens by Catering Manager Paul. The dishes were then put into transport trays and delivered while fresh and piping hot to Manua and Lee’s home where the Halloween party was taking place. Included in the catering package was disposable crockery, cutlery and napkins.

Experienced Chef a Paul worked hard to put together the tasty treats that formed the buffet. The main dish was a Classic Hog Roast, this was a slow spit roasted pig that was served with crispy crackling, homemade stuffing and tangy apple sauce. There was also a tray of grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers and a large tray of chips which were a mix of normal potato and sweet potatoes for an added treat! The buffet was rounded off with fresh coleslaw, pasta salad, Classic Cesar salad and a basket of soft gluten free rolls.

As soon as Chef Paul had finished creating the buffet the delicious dishes were carefully packed into the Hog Roast Wells-next-the-Sea vehicle and driven to the client’s home. As soon as the large trays of food were delivered to Manua and Lee they were ready to be served and eaten by their family who were enjoying their Halloween party.

Manua and Lee later sent their thanks to the Hog Roast Wells-next-the-Sea team and to Chef Paul in particular. Their party had been great fun and the buffet had been thoroughly enjoyed.
