PlantWorx is a gigantic construction, plant, services and technology event hosting hundreds of legendary exhibitors in the construction market. It is a massive three-day-event where exhibitors showcase, they’re amazing products with live demonstrations and unique applications. To entice customers in, Hog Roast Leiston had the excitement of providing food and drinks for some of these exhibitors including Garic who are a loyal, returning client.
Despite PlantWorx being in sunny June, every year it has at least one miserable day of rain. Unfortunately, this time, they had three days of heavy rain and wind. The wind was that bad that many exhibitors were chasing after runaway gazebo’s and marquees! However, this was not a problem for Hog Roast Leiston because we are an all-weather caterer so are fully prepared for this weather…. Even if it is in June! We tied down our gazebo’s and brought extra weights to put on the four corners to ensure stability.
For each plot, Hog Roast Leiston were providing a scrumptious hog roast for 100 guests with tea, coffee and hot chocolate which many guests were thankful for in the damp, cold weather! Hog Roast Leiston’s catering managers always go the extra mile to please their clients and provided the hot drink station with a few biscuit jars for guests to pick at before they tucked in to the main event.
The tea, coffee and hot chocolate station was running from half 9 and the hog roast was served from half eleven. The smell of the divine hog roast did indeed entice many customers for the exhibitors and as they enjoyed the succulent, melt-in-the-mouth pulled pork, flavoursome stuffing, soft roll, traditional apple sauce and the best, crunchy crackling, they provided the exhibitors with great business deals – winning! Even though exhibitors guess the number of guests they believe will eat, each day we did indeed feed 100 people and sometimes slightly more which was a bonus for our clients.
