Our guest of honour was surprised for their 50th birthday with great company, laughter and a menu as impressive as the event itself.
Hog Roast Market Deeping were on hand long before the guests arrived, to ensure that the menu matched the mood. With a serve time of 8pm, guests arrived at Vergette Court and were instantly treated to the aroma of a whole roasted pig and crispy crackling. Guests could also fill their plate with sage and onion stuffing and sweet apple sauce. The was led by our experienced catering manager, Andrew, who was on hand to serve up a buffet style meal, which meant our guests could focus on relaxing and making memories.
The meal also included a selection of freshly baked bread rolls and wraps, which could also be gluten-free on request. Alongside the main event was a fresh green salad and a helping of crunchy coleslaw, simple sides yet complimented the roast perfectly.
We always ensure that all guests are catered for, we had a meat-free option which were grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers. The skewers were served up on soft wraps, loaded with fresh tzatziki and sweet chilli sauce, sometimes the vegetarian dishes can be just as tempting as the main event.
As the guests tucked in to their plates and raised a glass to the guest of honour, it was clear that the birthday person was well loved. It was a night full of shared memories, nostalgic stories and laughter.
Andrew and the Hog Roast Market Deeping team took care of the food and that everything ran smoothly from the initial surprise to the last clink of a glass, which meant that all that was left for the guests to do was to sit back and celebrate as a family.
