When Chris called Hog Roast Woodbridge a few weeks back, he was looking for caterers to treat the guests at his 40th birthday party. Having been recommended to us by a long-term customer of ours who told him to try one of our amazing hog roasts, he was thinking of just that, but with some additional options served. In terms of choice, we’re number one both locally and further afield, as we can provide so much more than just hog and spit roasts. While they are our forte, and we have spent many years perfecting them, we also know that people have varying tastes and that special diets also need to be catered, so we make sure that both these are covered for our customers and their guests.
Once we told Chris that he could choose all sorts of food from our array of menus, he was more than happy, but when we told him about our Hog Roast Woodbridge Southern Slow Roast Menu, which offers three marinated meats and four sides as well as a vegetarian option if required, he was hooked and changed his mind from a hog roast meal. With this versatile menu, you choose three from barbecued pork butt, Texan beef brisket, Cajun-spice whole roasted chickens, sticky pork ribs and spicy Creole lamb, which are all marinated in our secret recipe rubs and then on the day, cooked slowly for hours to give you tender, mouthwatering morsels of meat. Then you add your choice of four sides, from a choice of coleslaw, Greek salad, mac and cheese, buttery corn on the cob, green leaf salad, skin-on jacket potatoes and spicy sweet potato wedges. And if that’s not enough, vegetarian guests can enjoy our tasty grilled halloumi and vegetable wraps with Tzatziki sauce.
Chris decided on pork, lamb and ribs, as well as coleslaw, wedges, mac and cheese and corn cobettes, and yesterday, on the day of his party, our Hog Roast Woodbridge chef and team impressed him and his guests no end with a feast fit for a king. By the end of the bash, the plates were just about licked clean!
