We left our head quarters all wrapped up with hats and scarves last Friday evening as we headed west to cater for an our door evening event with a hog roast Brandon. The shopping centre had just finished putting up their Christmas decorations and wanted to mark the beginning of the festive season with a celebration and some nice warm food for all the shoppers.
We set up in a nice safe spot at the entrance and placed two of our machines side by side on one we placed hundreds of potatoes and on the other hundreds of sausages! We set up our serving table and placed some finger rolls for the sausages and made some fillings for the jacket potatoes cheese and chive, tuna and sweet corn and a nice hot curry flavour perfect for the time of year we thought. We then mixed a nice bowl of salad and drizzled it in a nice warm dressing and we were good to go. Once the speeches were over it was time to serve the hog roast Brandon if there is one thing we are really good at that is serving a huge crowd quickly and efficiently and we do it with ease time and time again. We placed the thick meaty sausages into soft buns and handed them to the crowds they added some dips and salad and the potatoes we filled with an assortment of fillings and we had lots of compliments by all and all keen to take one of our cards showing what we do and lots of people showed interest in holding an event and we were happy to chat and give the guests details of what we do.
The night flew over and we didn’t feel the cold there was a brass band playing and the local choir sang a few songs and we all felt the spirit of Christmas had arrived! Tonight seemed like the beginning of Christmas for us and judging by all the Christmas bookings we have so far we can see we are going to be busy, but being busy is what we love and bring on Christmas we all say at Hog roast Brandon.
