Peter and Jackie are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary this February and have organised a lovely party to enjoy with their friends and family. The couple have organised a party at a function room in East Anglia, complete with delicious catering from Hog Roast Thetford and live music from a local band. Our catering manager Andrew helped Peter and Jackie to create the perfect menu for the event, with dishes that would be suitable for every guest at the party.
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Thetford team is planning to arrive at the function room in the morning to ensure that we have more than enough time to prepare all of the dishes on-site. We will begin by slow-roasting the hog to perfection and allowing it to cook for around five hours. Once ready, the hog will be expertly carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be serving succulent pork sausages and halloumi and vegetable skewers. The main dishes will be accompanied by homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and a green leaf salad. Overall, this will create the perfect menu for the occasion, with more than enough to go around!
