The Hog Roast Kings Lynn team had the pleasure of exhibiting our services at the King’s Lynn Wedding Fair, last Sunday. From the start of the day to the final sample cleared, the event was buzzing with excited couples, friendly faces and plenty of wedding inspiration. We loved being part of such a vibrant show and, most of all, meeting so many lovely couples planning their big day.
One of the highlights of the event for us was getting to do what we do best, keeping people well fed and happy! We brought along a selection of tasty samples so couples could experience our food for themselves, rather than just hearing about it. Our canapé choices were more than popular, with chicken satay skewers proving especially popular, alongside Scottish smoked salmon served on fresh brown bread with cracked black pepper, fresh lemon wedges and dill. These lighter bites gave couples a real flavour of how elegant and relaxed wedding catering can be.
No event with us would be completed without our signature, slow roasted pig. Alongside our tasty canapes, we served up our free range pork and the smell alone was enough to draw people to our stand. There’s nothing better than watching our potential clients reactions as they bite into our samples, it sparked conversations about our bespoke menus and how we can slot perfectly into their vision.
Our team at Hog Roast Kings Lynn loved chatting through ideas with couples, answering questions and hearing all about their plans for their big day. Wedding fairs are such a good opportunity to connect face to face, and we were more than honoured to meet so many engaged couples, families and fellow suppliers. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming and full of excitement, which made the day feel like an hour
Events like last Sunday remind us why we love what we do. Being able to share our food, talk through bespoke menu ideas and help couples feel confident about their catering choices is always something we look back on with pride and can’t wait to share with everyone. Lastly, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, grabbed a sample or even just came over to say hello.
