The snow looks like it’s going to be with us for a while but that doesn’t stop us catering here at Hog Roast Billericay. All last week we travelled up and down the country facing thick snow and blizzards but we made sure every booking no mater how far was catered for. Last week we had a fair few miles to travel for an event but we set off really early and even through the traffic moved at snow paced we arrived there nice and early.
Catering for a 60th birthday for Sam a regular of ours and catering in the usual village hall. Sam has been with us from day one and he was afraid we wouldn’t be able to get their with the weather but we did! Upon arrival we set to work straight away we were cooking beef and lamb and placed two large pieces of meat on the machine and as the meat cooked we began to prepare the sides we made a lovely green salad and a tomato salad, coleslaw and lots of dips using mint, mustard, garlic and honey. We brought with us some baked produce sausage rolls, quiche and mini pasties and some freshly baked buns and rolls, we bake all our produce fresh on the day for each event we like everything to be fresh as we believe quality is everything. The aroma of the lamb and beef was something else! It made our mouths water cooking it and we knew the guests wouldn’t’ be disappointed.
When Sam and the guests arrived they headed straight over to us and watched in amazement as our chef carved the Hog Roast Billericay meat into thick slices the meat was so tender and juicy and as the guests tasted the meat they were telling us that it was the nicest meat they had every tasted and they were asking us how we made it taste so good? We told them that our state of the art machines must take some of the credit as they cook to perfection time and time again. Sam had a wonderful birthday and we were proud to be part of it with Hog Roast Billericay.
