For teachers, the end of the school year means another year of teaching is complete and a long summer of relaxing awaits them. It is the perfect time to celebrate their hard work by enjoying a staff party to finish the year on a high! Hog Roast Ipswich can cater for any kind of staff party or celebration with one of our delicious buffet menus, including this tasty choice…

Earlier this year, Hog Roast Ipswich was contacted by a secretary at a local secondary school who wanted to hire our team to cater for their end of term staff party. To celebrate the academic year coming to an end, the school hosts a celebration for the teachers to enjoy, complete with great food, complimentary drinks, and plenty of time to relax and unwind. This year, Hog Roast Ipswich will be serving a classic hog roast at the party, with a selection of delicious side dishes to create a well-rounded buffet menu.

In preparation for the party, the Hog Roast Ipswich team is planning on arriving at the venue in the morning to ensure that we have plenty of time to prepare the menu. We will start by slow-roasting the hog, which needs to cook for around five hours. Once ready, the succulent pork will be expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For meat-free guests, we will be providing BBQ-pulled jackfruit, alongside crunchy slaw and Hickory BBQ sauce. We will also be serving a selection of delicious side dishes, including herby baby potatoes, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and a selection of fresh salad dishes. Overall, our dishes will combine to create a well-rounded and delicious menu, with plenty for every guest to enjoy. The party is sure to be a lot of fun for the teachers and will be a well-deserved reward after another year of hard work.
