Hog Roast Stowmarket were thrilled to be invited to cater for around 110 people at a wedding held at Columbine Hall Barn in Stowupland. We love catering at weddings and it is a speciality of ours alongside corporate and private parties, but we also know that planning needs to be meticulous to ensure that the bride and groom’s day goes without a hitch. First point of discussion is the menu and with six to choose from ranging from an entry level option to a formal dinner and buffet, there is a selection appropriate for any wedding and cost. In this case, we were tasked with delivering a hog roast meal with salad and new potatoes but with a vegetarian option also available on the day and with the food served on China plates rather than disposable ones.
Here at Hog Roast Stowmarket, we clearly understand that a couple’s wedding is one of the most important events of their lives and we always ensure that our service is professional, friendly and high quality and with precise attention to detail. We are aware that there are many good caterers for this type of event but what makes us great, is this meticulous attention to detail and the high quality of our food and service; all of our chefs and serving staff appreciate and understand the importance of looking the part and delivering a professional service especially for a wedding.
Planning a wedding can be stressful and we always try to ensure that any service that
we provide does not add to this, hence, we closely liaised with the families and other service providers to ensure that timings for setting up and service were appropriate and agreed to ensure that everyone’s expectations were met.
The event ran without any hitch as you would expect and we received many compliments from the guests relating to the high quality of the food and professional service; Hog Roast Stowmarket were very proud to contribute to the success of this event.
