A surprise 50th birthday party had been organised for Sandra by her husband Paul and Sandra’s family. Work colleagues and friends from school as well as present friends had been invited along with family. Some had travelled from as far as Spain to the party and some from different parts of the UK to be there for this lovely evening. Sandra had been told by husband Paul that he was going to take her out for a lovely romantic meal for two and then meeting up with friends for drinks after their meal.
The party was to be held at their local pub in Dilham as they had a large function room which held at least 500 people. Paul’s brother who was a DJ said he would do the disco and play all of Sandra’s favourite music from the 80s. Paul had decided he didn’t want a buffet, he wanted something a little different so asked Hog Roast Dilham to cater for the event. Pulled pork sandwiches with apple sauce and stuffing with the famous crispy crackling on the side was decided to be an option that would suit everyone. A variety of different fresh salads also accompanied the pork. A dessert of sticky toffee pudding or profiteroles was chosen for anybody with a sweet tooth who had room for anything else.
We at Hog Roast Dilham pride ourselves on the service we provide. We provide table linens and napkins to match and also disposable crockery which tends to be the chosen items which we dispose of ourselves at the end of the evening. The hog roast was cooked to perfection and carved by our chef at 8pm. The guests had plenty to eat and there was enough food left for anybody who wanted more. The comments to our chef from the guests were all very positive, it’s always great to hear such lovely feedback at the end of an evening, with the effort we put in to our services we love that to be recognised. The positive feedback we receive also means we know the event has been a great success. Sandra made a lovely speech thanking husband Paul and guests for such a lovely evening and thanked Hog Roast Dilham for the exceptional food that we had provided.
