A tasty, succulent, home-cooked hog roast could be on the cards for you sooner than you think with Hog Roast Aylsham. While we are busy all-year-round, owing to our fantastic food and service to match, we also work with other franchises who do the same, so even if you are organising a last-minute special occasion, we may well be able to accommodate you and your guests.
When Isla called us recently to see if we had availability for a party she was planning, she was surprised but very happy that we could fit her in. Having used our catering services in the past, she knew she would be in good hands with Hog Roast Aylsham and that everyone would be able to eat the food served. Being gluten-free herself and having a vegetarian son, it is important to Isla that she and her immediate family are able to eat the food that we prepare, cook and serve, and at this party, there would also be a vegan guest invited too.
We talked through all of the available options for Isla’s party and she decided on pigs in buns for most of the guests, with gluten-free bread rolls provided for herself. Both her vegetarian son and the vegan guest would be able to eat our veggie kebabs, which we normally add halloumi too, but on this occasion, they would consist only of fresh veggies including courgette, mushrooms, baby tomatoes, red onion and sweet peppers.
On the day of Isla’s party, our team arrived in plenty of time, hours before service, and got cracking preparing and then cooking the meat. We watched over it for ages as it sizzled away and then it was finally time for the meat to rest a short while before being cut up. By the time the veggie kebabs had been grilled to perfection, we had fresh, floury bread rolls and wraps sliced and ready to be filled with the tender meat, crispy crackling, apple sauce and stuffing, plus condiments lined up and ready for the guests to add to their buns.
By 5pm, Isla called everyone over to our serving station and the guests queued up for some gorgeous food, Hog Roast Aylsham style!
