When it comes to catering any kind of special occasion that you may have in mind, our Hog Roast Ixworth professionals always go the extra mile to ensure that our customers’ wants and needs and fulfilled, and that includes us catering for various special diets and personal tastes too. If you are inviting vegan or vegetarian guests or those on a plant-based diet, we have lots of options that will go down a treat, such as homemade quiches, stuffed mushrooms or peppers or veggie skewers. However, we also make sure that other diets are covered too if needed, such as dairy-free or gluten-free, and as long as you let us know in advance of your party or event, we will do our utmost to make sure those guests are catered too, with generous servings of delicious, freshly made food.
Hog Roast Ixworth recently catered Charles and Pippa’s formal engagement party with multiple options that would suit all of their eighty guests, including a traditional centrepiece hog roast meal and a suitable vegetarian main course, as well as canapés and desserts that would be suitable for everyone too. We are often asked to provide a selection of our handmade canapés, and we have various ones that are already suitable for vegetarians, so when Charles and Pippa devised their own menu for this special occasion, they asked us to make four veggie canapés and four more canapés to suit the meat and fish eaters who were invited…
For this party, to welcome the guests, Hog Roast Ixworth made a lovely selection of our canapés, where we served Peking duck wraps, feta skewers, tiger prawns, wild mushroom bouchees, chicken satay and dim sum, and we served them together with various refreshing cold drinks. Sometime after the happy couple arrived, our hog roast was ready to carve and most of the guests queued up for a taste of scrumptious hot pork, crackling, stuffing, apple sauce, new potatoes and seasonal veg, while we served the vegetarians at the tables with delicious veggie skewers, pitta bread and our own dip.
An hour or so later and we served a duo of delightful desserts to the couple and their guests – our own profiteroles and summer pudding – and then our team quietly cleared away and left everyone to dance the night away.
