East Anglia hog roasters getting ready for Christmas

Welcome to December and don’t we know we are in winter now with all this snow and ice. It was a long journey back from the Christening we did on Sunday due to all the snow and once back we had to clean the machines before putting them away, so all in all, a long day.  We are doing a couple of site visits later today. We find this really useful because it helps determine any extra kit we may need and it ensures we and the customer are reading off the same page. Also one of the vans is in for service on Thursday so we need to get ourselves organised around that.

We are still getting enquiries for Christmas parties coming into the office and if we can fit them in we will but we pride ourselves in providing an excellent service and we don’t want to compromise this for the sake of being greedy.  We have now got to grips with the new computer system and one of the functions it allows us to do is plan our weekly timetable and thereby our shopping list. Our butcher sources all our pigs locally and we get all our potatoes and vegetables from a local grower so it is very helpful if we can place our orders in good time.

Somebody has been up to the top shelf, dusted off the old box and found last years Christmas decorations. And we already have two Christmas cards from satisfied customers thanking us for a job well done.

Brrr, its time for a warm up so kettle on, cup of tea on the way.
