We know that keeping the little ones occupied for all six weeks of the summer holidays is no easy feat for parents, but fortunately, the weather is fine and East Anglia is full of fun things to do at this side of the year! From family-friendly festivals and live music events to outdoor adventure trails, open-air markets and so much more, there’s plenty to keep the whole family amused until the schools reopen again in August. And do you want to know the best part? You might even get to experience the unmistakable taste of Hog Roast East Farndon’s sublime menus into the bargain!
As one of the region’s most trusted and most sought-after catering services, Hog Roast East Farndon regularly receives invites to some of the biggest goings-on in the area, which allows us to introduce more people to the tradition of hog roasting. And with the summer holidays within touching distance, our phones have been ringing off the hook as event planners attempt to book us in for the upcoming celebrations.
One event we’re really looking forward to will be taking place next Saturday, and we’re expecting a massive turnout from people of all ages. The event in question is a country fair, which has been organised by, Julia, and will feature a splendid array of countryside activities, including sporting competitions, horse riding, arts and crafts workshops, carnival rides and plenty of stalls to browse. There will also be a small petting zoo for the kids to enjoy and a competition for the best-trained farm dogs.
In keeping with the pastoral theme, Hog Roast East Farndon will be serving our Southern Slow Roast Menu, which will consist of our Texan 24-hour beef brisket, Cajun-spiced whole roast chickens, fall off the bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs, and vegan BBQ pulled jackfruit rolls. These mouth-watering meats will be offered up with a selection of fresh salad options, a choice of smokey condiments, Memphis style crunchy coleslaw and buttery corn cobbettes.
Hog Roast East Farndon is looking forward to wowing guests at this highly-anticipated event and we can’t wait to knock their socks off with a divine spread!
