Hog Roast Wickham Market can help you to serve the menu of your dreams, and not just with a traditional hog roast centrepiece. While we have spent a long time perfecting our fantastic hog roasts, and we’re proud of them, we also know that our customers and their guests need choice and variety, so we have plenty of other options available to make sure that personal tastes, dietary needs and bigger appetites are all catered for.
From spit-roasted chickens, turkeys, lamb or beef to barbecued burgers, ribs and sausages or even marinated meats instead, we can easily satisfy carnivores, but vegans and vegetarians will be surprised by the delicious suitable options on offer too, like stuffed peppers or mushrooms, mac and cheese or quiche. One of our dedicated menus may give you exactly what you need, like our winter warmer or festive menu, with your preference of meat, potatoes and vegetables, while our Southern Slow Roast menu is perfect when you want to give your guests plenty of choice, as you get three meats, four sides and a variety of tasty sauces and there’s even a vegetarian dish if needed. Whatever kind of special occasion you are organising and whatever type of food that you have in mind, let Hog Roast Wickham Market take the reins and treat your guests to something special.
We recently catered a business event for Eddie, who had asked us to serve our amazing pigs in buns, which we created from a freshly-cooked pig on the day. After arriving early in the morning and setting up our equipment, our Hog Roast Wickham Market chef and catering team members got to work preparing the meat to be roasted, by scoring it all over, adding plenty of water and then smothering it in salt, which produces the crispy crackling that everyone loves. Soon after, it was sizzling away in its own juices in one of our trusty hog roasting machines while we watched over it.
Later in the day, we arranged the fresh bread rolls and wraps and condiments on our serving tables, dished up our homemade duo of apple sauce and stuffing, and by 1pm, it was finally time to carve away and satisfy some hunger.
