Gear Up For Galentine’s Day With Hog Roast Nether Heyford!

February has arrived, which can only mean one thing…Yes, Valentine’s Day is near!

Hog Roast Nether HeyfordWhatever your feelings on this annual holiday are, it’s hard to ignore the epic build-up that takes place each year in the weeks before February 14th. From scarlet and fuschia displays to blooming rose bouquets and heart-shaped everything, it seems like Cupid is around every corner.

For a long time, this extreme emphasis on romance and relationships was seen by many singletons as an unwelcome reminder of their lack of luck in the love department. But thankfully, times have changed and being single on Valentine’s Day is no longer seen as a curse!

Instead, people are choosing to embrace the joys of being single by taking part in the festivities anyway. There’s even a whole day dedicated to platonic love; it takes place on the 13th of February each year.

Known as ‘Galentine’s’ Day, February 13th gives women the chance to celebrate their friendships and spend quality time with their pals. This year, Hog Roast Nether Heyford has been asked along to a private Galentine’s event, which we are very much looking forward to.

The client, Sara, has planned a tasty brunch followed by an afternoon of cocktail-making at a luxury hotel for all the special ladies in her life. This means that a grand total of 20 guests will be attending this event, and Hog Roast Nether Heyford will be treating them all to our Hog Roast Dining Menu.

We’re also gearing up to serve grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers with tzatziki dip, flatbreads and sweet chilli sauce to ensure that the veggie/vegan guests have something delicious to munch on.

Adding an air of luxury to this meal, Hog Roast Nether Heyford will serve antipasti platters covered in Italian meats, cheeses, artisan bread, olives, sundried tomatoes and dressings, which the guests will be able to pick at throughout the event. And with chocolate being a must for this type of celebration, we’ll be rounding off this incredible meal with profiteroles and chocolate torte.
