When the sun is shining and the temperature is at an all-time high we at Hog Roast Oundle would of course like to be out at the beach lounging and working on our tans, but we have had plenty of events to keep us on our toes in the meantime. Not to worry, there was still plenty of opportunity to top up the tan in our many outdoor events this past week as we kept on providing our sizzling catered services to events throughout the incredible British heatwave. Up and down the country this past week Britons were relishing in the absurd heat, and we at Hog Roast Oundle were on hand to help some of them along with our sizzling serves and our delicious grilled and roast foods.
Nothing screams British summer quite like a good old barbecue, and our gourmet version is all the heat. For events during the heatwave our gourmet barbecue menu proved quite popular. We were out to the park, to the beach, back gardens, serving up our delicious classic barbecue to many events all around. Getting the barbecue out is always a treat when the sun comes calling, but with our version you can enjoy even better versions of all your favourites without having to tussle with pesky homemade burgers or old rust buckets that haven’t been used in years. Hog Roast Oundle were out serving up all of our homemade barbecue faves: gourmet sausages, handmade burgers, chicken kebabs, veg burgers, veg and halloumi skewers, our homemade chips, fresh salads and slaws. We had everything to keep guests refreshed and fed during the heatwave at events.
Another popular choice for the heatwave was our Alfresco menu. This lighter menu combines our classic hog roast with some of the more vibrant tastes of the Mediterranean. Our Alfresco menu begins with an antipasti platter just like the Italians have perfected. This delivers finely carved Italian meats with accompanying Italian cheeses and artisanal bread with drizzling oils to help really pack in the flavour. Guests also enjoyed our Greek salads with this menu served along with our spit roasted pork.
